Syscont Ltd.

HMI

Syscont’s professionals are the principal developers of Honeywell’s graphic library HMIWeb Solution Pack.

The Library contains numerous objects (shapes) for graphic imaging/display of regulators, logic blocks for motor control, pumps, turbines, valves and other devices (device controls), analogue and digital data acquisitions, sequences, etc.

The development of the Library started in 2001 with the launch of PlantScape 400. One of the main features of the Library’s initial version was the first-time implementation of Honeywell’s web-based graphic editor. The aim of the latter is to make the system accessible for all users who use different platforms and process monitoring, even when they are located at home.

The images of the Library objects are developed in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the ASM consortium in order to assure minimum visual load on the operators thus helping for decrease in the number of industrial accidents caused by human error.

The first Library version was completed in mid-2002 and comprised of around 100 objects. Since then, the Library has been continuously expanding, both in quantity and in functionality, with each new Experion (PlantScape successor) version.

The current version of the Library comprises of 1,400 objects and allows imaging/display of process (C200, C300), SCADA, TPS (HPM, HG) and FF (Foundation Fieldbus) points.

The newest version of the Library, still under development, will introduce objects that will represent temperature profiles, anti-surge compressor curves, the so called radar objects, objects supporting Drag & Drop, links with Access data bases, as well as links with other applications. Syscont’s professionals actively took part in the testing of EPKS 400 newest version in Sydney, Australia, in 2010.
